Al-Fajr Al-Basem was founded in 2013 by Eng. Hassan Khalil Ibrahim to be the first company in Borg El-Arab dedicated to construction works and the outfitting of educational institutions and schools, alongside import and export activities; a limited partnership company that is, at its heart, a family business, built, owned, and run by members of one family bound together by kinship, trust, and a shared commitment to carrying forward the founder's legacy. That legacy found its fullest expression in 2016, when Eng. Hassan founded Harvest International School (HIS) to be the first international school in Borg El-Arab, recruiting highly qualified teachers and administrators to bring to life a dream he had carried for many years: a school built on a true mission and vision, realized only after extensive consultation with specialized educators. Today, HIS offers students an ideal learning environment in which to satisfy their thirst for knowledge, supported by an extensive extracurricular program, within a purpose-built, world-class campus that includes extended grounds, specialized sports fields and courts, a fully equipped gymnasium, and an outdoor swimming pool, all in service of Eng. Hassan's mission to raise well-rounded young people, physically, ethically, and educationally capable of facing the challenges of the twenty-first century in an ever-evolving global community, by teaching the Egyptian, British, and American curricula side by side, with lifelong learning and a spirit of discovery and experimentation at the very heart of everything we do.
